Infant Development Services (IDS) brings together resources and services, not only to help your child grow and learn, but also to provide support to your family to enhance your child’s development.

 Early Intervention” are services and supports to help infants and toddlers, birth to three years old with disabilities or delays in their development. These services are intended to help eligible children learn new skills, overcome challenges, and increase success in life.

How can I sign up for IDS?

Eligible children include those infants or toddlers (birth through 36 months) who: 

  • Have a significant delay in at least one area of development. 
  • Have a condition with a known probability of causing a disability or delay. 
  • Are at risk for a developmental delay or disability

 Contacting a regional center will start the process to determine a child’s eligibility for Early Start Services. Assessments, evaluation, eligibility determination, and the Individualized Family Service Plan (for eligible children) must be completed within 45 days unless there is an exceptional circumstance that causes delay in meeting this timeline.

Assessment / Intake

The initial assessment will take place within 10 business days of the referral. So Cal Behavioral Therapy conduct assessments of the individuals’ needs and services and develop an Individual Service Plan to the individuals Service Coordinator

Qualified Staff

Infant educators bring more than a year of experience in the DDS service delivery system, specializing in supporting both male and female infants. These professionals hold a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field in Child Development, showcasing their academic foundation in the field.

1:1 when the service is conducted on an individual basis

Rancho Cucamonga, California.

  • West End: Chino, Chino Hills, Fontana, Montclair, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga
  • High Desert: Apple Valley, Hesperia, Oak Hills, Phelan, Victorville
  • San Bernardino/ Surrounding Cities: Bloomington, Colton, Highland, Mentone, Redlands, Rialto, San Bernardino, Yucaipa
  • Riverside/ Surrounding Cities: Corona, Eastvale, Mira Loma, Moreno Valley, Norco
